High Noon, No Consensus

Shooting in Canon Raw, color correction and grading were required among the other needs to finish this micro. ADR had to have been substituted over captured audio on set as this was filmed in front of a college library. Using only natural lighting, both the Culvers and outdoor scene had to be brightened in post.

Culver’s is a rather bright establishment, relying mostly on windows, it proved rather challenging to correct the glare from outdoors. Filming in a public establishment, there was a need to film quickly and efficiently as to not disrupt the space.

During post-production, I was in charge of creating a rough cut. Upon completing the first draft I sought out feedback from the group I was working with. It was decided the rough cut should be 15 to 20 seconds shorter, and with some back and forth, the final cut was reduced from 1 minute 50 seconds, to 1 minute and 27 seconds.
